Capitalist Logic I won’t ethically use.

Hey guys, let’s start being practical, and let’s start being moral. I am Ashton Deroy I graduated from Loyalist College. I have a Business Diploma and a Diploma in Advertising and Marketing Communications. Here is some Capitalist Sales Logic I won’t conform to for ethical reasons.

  • You can replace a quality competitor product with an inferior product by way of Sales & Marketing – This is not Utilitarian, practical, or even generally reasonable. That is why I had trouble selling Shaw Cable products in Telemarketing. In areas, our competitors had genuinely better products and we were outdated. Everything from the telemarketing outward was outdated in Shaw Cable comparable to Telus in certain areas of Canada around 2016.
  • You should never take a handout – Every handout is reduced to Socialism in the brain of a Capitalist. As a Liberal Socialist, I argue that you use the best system for the situation to ensure the health & well being of people. It felt surreal listening to a guy who buys and sells apartment buildings talk about how he will fight the government and shame everyone who is poor. Rather than encourage resiliency and morality. Something that would make good content and no one would blame him for.
  • Always bidding for the cheaper solution – Never looking at issues deeper than a bottom line. I am not afraid to talk about in a job setting that if a call center seating layout is resulting in sexual harassment of an employee. Then I believe in 100% modifying the seating arrangement. That is just common sense. You know what? We had one plan for the layout today and now we have to modify that plan. To: Capitalists & Communists, “Absolute efficiency is an insane and indignant unachievable concept.” Communities have more than 1 bottom line.

Why I became a Socialist through Business classes?

Like Ashton Deroy on Facebook.

I wish to stumble into my beliefs of Liberal Socialism was a phase. That way it could be just a mindset I could quit. I could leave it and the planet would be fine, median incomes wouldn’t be down and the neighboring Head of State wouldn’t be a dictator. Could you imagine such a world? 😀 “That is the most Utopic thinking you will get from me today.” :/

This may be surprising to people. I actually don’t think Business & Finance people are the fascist capitalists’ people think. You have a hard time learning about an unsustainable investment, financial, and environmental economy. Then pretending everything is alright with some Grant Cardone style motivational Capitalism. Not a hater, I bought a book of his. I just love using him in my jokes because the guy is so damn cheesy. “I vote my business.” Grant Cardone. Got to love self-help idiots. When we want answers? They give us silly.

The problem is I don’t want to throw out the system of Capitalism. Not at all. I want to throw out the uncompromising stupidity related to the political and philosophical ideologies related to capitalism. That is what is ruining the execution of the system in the proper manner. We have character problems and problems in how we view the environment. We don’t have a Private Property problem. We don’t need to screw up agriculture. We need to fix it. Listen I wouldn’t let a Communist screw up my access to food & water. I won’t let an oil-loving Capitalist do it either!

Anyways I am not a Capitalist. I am a Liberal Socialist. I don’t have time for grandiose Business bull****. As for strong centralized authoritarian governments like in Communism? I don’t think so Kingston Ontario! I don’t want to go through this rampant disease (Coronavirus) again because some idiot doesn’t know to use Bats in their stupid traditional medicine market. Or something environmentally stupid along those lines! Again I don’t care if you are a Capitalist or a Communist. Neglecting our environment is insane! Mixing the Social Concerns of Socialism with the innovative Capitalist values of Liberalism makes sense. It is a compromise that works.

If I give up the brain of addiction. I must give up Nihilism.

People might wonder in the autism community if I will get past my issues of addiction and depression. I know my pathway out. If I am to give up addiction I must give up Nihilism. When one is an addict? They tend to reduce their life and the sum total of morality into a meaningless construct. (It is important to note my path to sobriety was a political & cultural study. Not a religious experience. Hence why I chose Liberal Socialism as a defining religion eventually)

Political Studies

It is not. Morality is not meaningless. Our environment is not meaningless, especially in relation to potential mass extinction and the traditions of Social Democracy & Liberal Democracy are not meaningless. Even if we identify as atheists out of some traumatic experience we should still live our life with a purpose, passion, and some discipline.

When I was a Nihilist? I learned some of my attitudes had an impact on my family culture. If you are a Stoner who doesn’t care about anything. You might have a sibling become a stoner who doesn’t care about anything. That is an eye-opening experience. Your family might reflect your attitudes with constant socially negative commentary on race, ability & various World Views.

(I have mentioned despite my Dad being a typical Canadian in his views. We do share a prejudice to Communism both in literature and history considerations.)

Looking morally inward with questions:

  • What impact do I have on moral culture?
  • What do people think my values are?
  • What are the traditions I want to honor and the ones I want to leave behind?

Socialism as an atheist religion.

Like my page on Facebook Ashton Deroy

I guess we can consider this a moment of truth. I consider Socialism an atheist religion after my last examination. It is one I am choosing to practice but it is the truth. The ideas were impractical in nature but taught us a lot about Progressive politics. Yet they developed a religious-like following.  I am highly supportive of ideas that people are environmental determinists, that social sciences, arts, and hummanities should be held in high regard & that we must be passionate about ideas of democracy and justice.

What made me choose this belief?

With my practice of faith. Also went my unmaterial spirit. Choosing Socialism kind of gave me that same rush someone got from dedicating their life to Christ. The belief is also highly adaptable for the moral values of an equal society that has proven to be an essential ingredient to maintaining cultural pluralism in our family, normalizing more feminist values & humanizing discussions of anti-refugee racism.

Labeling Socialism my religion

Means opting to prefer more secularist based ideas. It means holding poverty as a highly important issue & encourages my thrifty practice of attempting to switch my clothing shopping patterns toward almost completely towards second-hand shopping in an effort to be sustainable. I am also not the only person practicing this belief in the family. Again I just find the comparisons of Socialism to a religion an apt statement. I think if that concept were a religion,  I would want to choose it because it makes perfect sense when humanity is facing its toughest recent challenges.

Socialism is my Religion & I am a Progressive voter. Socialism 2

Why I won’t advocate for Communist Socialism or Religious Socialism?

Today we are going to go back to Business as usual. Which is discussing my theories & observed realities on Socialism.  Today I am going to share why I do not support Regressive Socialism. Like the Socialism you see in Religious Socialism (Cults) & Communist Socialism (Aggressive Nationalizing) .

What are my Socialist values then? Well, I prefer Socialism that actually still uses money. My Socialism focuses on sustainable economic development and access to essential services & an economic safety net. My version of Socialism does not like the Universal Basic Income at this time. Rather we focus on the democratization of the workplace. We also create a newer version of Economics which recognizes Ecological sustainability. Lastly, my version of Socialism uses humanism and recognizes human rights based on Canada’s beautiful Charter of Rights & Freedoms. Technically I use the modern Canadian model of Socialism which makes sense because I am Canadian.

If you give up Individualism & finance for faith. It is religious Socialism..png

Religious Socialism

Last week I ate at a cult recruiting restaurant. It was good Brazilian Style food. Too bad I will not be back. I preached to the cult recruiters about Human Rights. Then I realized I probably stepped on their toes for what they believed in. Take a look at this News article to hear what their faith 12 Tribes is all about. Click here to view this video.

As you can see they are designing a society centered not around Capitalism but around their faith. This religious Socialism also uses a disciplinarian approach to controlling the behavior of children. They describe letting go of Spanking as “Hell breaking out”. This is not the grand societal design I have in mind. I am against spanking period! I saw my mom’s old boyfriend Trent Gallant beat his daughters growing up. I have just had enough of that kind of behavior. Like I have had a lifetime of exposure of it & I am 26.

Faith + Socialism = Cult.

It is actually that simple. If you notice people share the profits of a religious operation for the interest of the survival of their group. There is no recognition of individualism or personal property. They are using symptoms of Socialism. Then mixing with faith with Socialism can quickly spiral into the radical design. Socialism is supposed to exist to heighten everyone’s quality of life. This form of Socialism however only heightens the quality of life for the spiritual leaders.

Communist Socialism

Communist Socialism.png

This is a little more complicated. Explaining why I don’t like Communist Socialism. Communist-style Socialism was brought about in Russia through promises of a Socialist paradise. What happened instead? Aggressive Nationalization of private resources, businesses & properties. As well as an installment of regressive style leadership & tyrannical government.

Communist Socialism looks a bit more like this

Aggressive uprising + Tyrannical government + Nationalizing everything – (All human rights on a political level)

I do admire the type of Socialism you see in a place like Cuba, although it has been making more progressive movements. Communism is looking beautiful. Psst whispers “If you don’t understand the political pieces whatsoever.” However, it is a dystopian society with a lot of ugly bits hidden. For example secret police, conspiracy killings & in the case of China a hidden truth about ecological collapse.

When we look at Socialism? We have to look at installing a practical model based on our democratic values as well as the successes of Capitalism. I look at Progressive Socialism as more of an upgrade to Capitalism through the Labor movement, rather than

It is time to stop using the “S” word so freely. Politics with Ashton Deroy.

Stop saying the S word

Ashton Deroy writes: Does this sound familiar? “Liberals & New Democrats are socialists. It is not the job of the state to look after the needs of the people!” Liberals & New Democrats are not socialists. What is socialism? Google defines socialism as, “a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.” We still live in a society where ownership mostly controls means employment & achieves the majority of wealth. In other words, Ontario is still Capitalist.

How do I prove we are not socialist or even toying with it politically at this time? Well first off neither of our major left-wing parties in Canada is socialist, social programs are not the main symptom of socialism & if we attack the left as socialist, we are setting up a kind of revolution. The deep thought I want to set you up for if we call them socialist do they become socialists? I think as we go on your will realize the answer might become yes.

Why is it time to stop using the “S” word? Conservatives and Alt-Right people are throwing around the word socialism to describe anyone on the left? I am a Liberal. What does that mean? It means I am open to new behaviors that disregard traditional values. In Canada, I also consider Liberalism’s backbone is that we don’t oppress the working class anymore than is necessary to have a functional working economy while caring for the welfare of our vulnerable population. In the case of our New Democrats, they are more left-wing, but still not socialist because they do have a primary focus on job creation

Social programs are not the main features of socialism. The increased use of them has far more to do with health epidemics, no-accommodation in the workplace & an inability to complete High School education. What happens in a socialist society? Usually, the government puts out so much in social aide that it no longer makes sense to work in Canada. Our income assistance programs are quite intent on getting people into long term employment, I can testify as someone who was on assistance recently.

Now it is time for the “R” word. No, it is not the one disparage people with autism. It is the word revolution. In the past, I have made reference to the revolution as a positive thing. It is not a positive thing that left-wing people are going “hmmm, socialism that doesn’t sound bad!” It does not help that Ontario’s premiere is being largely accused of political warfare on the lower class. This only serves to enhance the problem. Add to that the right-wing Conservative/Libertarian males who treat anyone who can’t work for their own income as less than a person. Yes, these are things that will lead to a revolution and the scary part is poor people commit the most violent crimes, poor people have organized themselves in prior decades to have some of the most violent human rights protests in our history! Take for example Stonewall. They treat LGBTQ2s people like outsiders of society and they fought back! Not good, not good at all! If you abandon the lowest class of society are low-income immigrants, refugees and disabled Canadians they will not hesitate to steal, kill & possibly organize an aggressive socialist movement.

Are you using the “S” word to provoke arguments with the left-wing Canadians? You need to think twice about this. A violent socialist revolution is being provoked in our country by the growth of our Progressive Conservatives, class warfare and simply telling the lowest class of people that helping them survive in difficult economic times is simply too much! Accommodation in the workforce, workplace Unions and or an emergency income is by no means not too much to ask for. Continued exploitation and aggravating an aggravated class of people is a dangerous road to explore, so put the “S” word away and be cautious.
