No worker shortage Belleville Ontario

Description of the video:

f you plan a #welfarestate but don’t plan a #Workers State. Then you only end up with a strong welfare state. That is what is happening to #belleville & #QuinteWest.

#Liberal style #Socialism should be the Social Democratic theory of Economic Expansion. How do we achieve meeting the needs? While also incorporating a model of working to prosperity.

The fridge & food metaphor: I am using this to explain how uncontrolled rent & rising costs to live are interdependent to a work to prosperity Economic model. If the work for the Prosperity model dies, then with it dies the culture of ambitious workers. You just have people concerned with owning the means of production. Nobody will want to support it. Think of it as highly volatile and overly idealistic capitalism.

Needs in Belleville and Quinte West

There is no worker shortage. Just an entirely lacking work to prosperity Economic model.

Let’s talk about Cooperatives

Ashton Deroy Writes: I am tired of the Employee to the Employer ownership model of our economy. We can do better than this outdated Capitalism. I feel the only reason we aren’t is because we are discouraging the practice of relationships in Business from our Schools. We are encouraging delusions of “being your own boss”. We aren’t looking at “What is the practical way of becoming a more democratic economy?”

Take Social Ownership of the Loneliness crisis.

Ashton Deroy writes: This is my common sense philosophy. I think no matter what I write. This will be the most me thing I ever write as an Autistic Social Democrat. “Take Social Ownership of the Loneliness crisis.” It is an ambitious idea but I consider it a philosophy of my life.

Find the oddballs, misfits & some good role models too. Put them together & make them your social scene. The only problem with this group is they have real problems in our society. Lonely people have financial issues, mental health problems & even social struggles. The prior sentence is just a carefully viewed observation based on my surroundings.

Chances are in having this theory to make your mosaic plurality of friends. You are going to experience someone with mental health problems which could include suicidal ideation. I have to say today as of 2020-04-14 I am going to take aLiving Works Suicide preventionE-Learning course through Ontario.

I am autistic as I stated. When I hear suicide coming from someone’s mouth? You may as well of put dishes in a dishwasher and started grinding them! Yes, it makes me uncomfortable and yes I panic! I don’t think if I am hearing about suicide as often as I do though, that I shouldn’t be ready for when I do hear someone mention it.

Despite humorous opinions of me. I do not seek out chaos! I like routine, smoking pot & listening to audiobooks. I don’t like things that make my eyes feel like large golfballs.

Ashton Deroy: CannSell Certificate of Achievement & Business Diploma.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Ashton Deroy Writes: I am not kidding when I say I hold these two achievements in the same regard. My Community College Business Diploma & my CannSell achievement certificate. I have legitimately wanted to work in the Marijuana Market ever since I first went to college in 2012. Now it is something that is actually achievable and I am very excited.

I think seeing these two things together just makes me realize I have been able to combine two very different sides of myself successfully. The professional deterministic side that got myself to learn finance, Supply Chains & Statistics. Then there is the Hippie who knows about the history of Cannabis, All about Socialism & bases their modern style blogging on the old works of Social Democrats of the past. Whether I am a hippie or a Business person, I am just proud of the fact I was able to put these two achievements side by side and see a broader image of myself.

About the AGCO CannSell Course?

AGCO

You can click the image of the website if you want to take it yourself. What you should know? The course is $70 & it takes 5 hours to complete. I kind of thought it was cool though. I have been studying marijuana for some time. I was still able to learn about Canada’s legal history with Marijuana & about recent cases of cannabis intoxication and driving.

As a vanity thing. I actually think if you are a huge cannabis nerd like me. You should get a CannSell Certificate. I can’t see any reason why not? Like it is kind of a verification that I take my passion for recreational marijuana seriously. Plus if you have studied marijuana as much as me. You will probably pass the test easy as well.

This is a section for my resume here on the blog. I just think if I am mentioning my achievements. I should probably post a resume to. This blog is supposed to help with generating career leads.

Are you kept inside during the Co-Vid19 pandemic?

Try some cardiovascular exercise. These workouts help me keep sane while in isolation. I actually have a small cough myself. However, sometimes I find a mini martial arts workout can be good for a body that spends too long in bed. Also moving once every few hours helps improves your circulation which is great for pain reduction.

The other thing I have tried recently is T’ai Chi

This is a 5 part workout I purchased on Google Play. I use it to re-align my chi. I also find mixing martial arts workouts effective with T’ai chi because I learn to move my hands more fluidly. Also it improves your reflexes and stance.

Now T’ai Chi does not look like much. I should warn you, it hurts like crazy! Like as much as Pilates hurt. T’ai Chi hurt about the same. No pain no grain & I know there will be flexibility improvements over time.

Stance on Universal Basic Income

Ashton Deroy Writes: Universal Basic income is basically an expansionary Economic policy that aims to provide people with a basic income that meets minimum living standards. (In my opinion the Social welfare program is preferable due to the employment created for Social Service workers, Career Counselors & administrators.)

I am going to keep this post short because I am not for or against Universal Basic Income. My Dad thinks it is a good idea but I am less sure. I will keep my opinion mostly to two points. 1. We have to greater incentivize working to prosperity. 2. We need a strong means to fund a program like this & the ability to hit the emergency breaks as soon as required. These programs have driven Communist Socialist countries to break.

CBC “Ontario’s basic income pilot project was widely expected to last three years in order to figure out if it could replace other social support systems. But it’s being axed early. The new provincial government deemed the program a failure, but many participants say it was a lifeline.”

Where I believe the program failed? Promising a 3-year commitment to these people before an election. The program was not encouraging the participants enough to step away from a government Social program into more stable full-time employment. Lastly, the program didn’t hire any Social Service Workers to monitor any type of mental or Economic progress. (Are you affected by this program being pulled? Get angry, get loud and get Anti-Conservative!)

You are not going to win my vote on this Universal Basic Income concept. Despite the fact, I acted politically to protect it by supporting Kathleen Wynne in re-election in 2018. I need to see broader Economic planning, a clear statement of values & demonstrated competence. 2022 is going to be the year of the next Provincial Election. I am leaning towards Ontario’s NDP Party because of the outstanding work of Andrea Horwath as the Official Opposition.

People, who inspire me to grow old?

People who inspire me to grow old

Ashton Deroy writes: Let us face it, many people among my income class do not desire to grow old. The tedious life of living poor in a country that increasingly includes the wealthy in the overdeveloped economy while leaving us behind. It is very tempting to quit this life. I am a Socialist who panics about the Social & Environmental decay of society. The future seems bleak & people seem like they have stopped paying attention to what Society needs.

The last time I was ready to call it quits on my life was 4 years ago at 22 years old. I turned off my brain & started doing crazy things. Like taking an ill-advised bus trip to North Bay from North York. Where the bus took me near a forest fire.

I got sick from smoke inhalation. This had me down for a week at a stranger’s house where I went to get high. This was the craziest place my declining mental health ever took me! Fast forward 2 years later.

I am in a relationship, near fixing my life & moving to a safer address as of March. What I discovered is? When you are looking to live a longer life there is something essential you need to do. Ask yourself “Who inspires you to grow old?”

Tommy Douglas

Tommy Douglas cartoon

Tommy Douglas was the father of Canadian Socialism. He was anti-war, pro-health care for all & he did economic reforms that saved a collapsing economy. Near 80 years old Tommy Douglas was struck by a bus. However, he recovered by his 80th birthday. He is a true symbol of Canadian kindness, resiliency & intelligence.

Grandma Pat

Grandma Pat

Not the biggest fan of her current Conservative stances. However in 2011 Grandma Pat & I both voted for Canada’s Socialist Party the NDP Party. Like it or not? Grandma Pat was a big part of the reason I became a Canadian Socialist first before I ever voted Liberal. For that, I am glad I had her guidance.  Being a Socialist means you have principles of community, compassion & Sustainability. Being a Liberal tends to mean you stand on a meaningless Progressive mishmash of ideas. She is a testament to the fighting spirit of Rural Canadians  & she is a part of a generation that raised Rock & Roll, hippies. Like my Dad and my Uncle Rick.

Kaylib

Kaylib Drury

Kaylib is my significant other & my best friend. Truth be told I could see growing old in a dignified way with a partner like Kaylib. Around him, I behave rationally & really think things through. I would say that some of my best writing has happened because Kaylib got me to think more deeply about what I was going to say. The other part about Kaylib that inspires me to grow old? I really want to see the successful person he becomes. He is so intelligent & he understood Statistics in my Loyalist College diploma program when a lot of my classmates in 2019 did not!

This blog was written in 2020. A year that would begin a downward decline of public mental health. Statistically, Mental Health issues related to suicide are at an all-time high within Ontario. The CAMH wait for services is way too long. Yet mental healthcare remains primarily Privatized.

Dropping Socialist rhetoric for a second. Obviously, I support Mixed Economies.

Capitalism is not doomed

Ashton Deroy writes: Rhetoric to me is speaking creatively with an image we’ve created for ourselves. I am not some Russian loving Commy though. I call myself a Socialist, but I wasn’t the first person to call myself that. It was an insult that was thrown at me by a Conservative relative! I just happened to find out Socialism has been the backbone to every major Civil rights movement in North America. Also, Socialist feminism was the best alternative to feminine alienation. The destruction of the Unions has meant we have actually begun slipping from the prosperity of capitalism to the poor workers’.

However, objectively speaking. I think we all should know the answer is not a purely Socialist system or a purely capitalist system. The answer if we are going to sustain our economies & communities has to be a middle ground. This is where? You take some ideas from Socialism for example geared by income housing, Universal Healthcare & democratization of the workplace. While also keeping aspects of Capitalism such as private ownership, gains on investment & profit. The point is you intelligently design a system with both of these things & that is where the answer lays.

I will continue to call myself a Socialist though. Sorry to say this but I think Socialism gets an overly bad spin in North America. I am genuinely offended by the waive of anti-socialist sentiment by certain Conservatives. You need to realize our world needs both of our ideologies & Capitalism without Socialism is slavery. Socialism without Capitalism can be tyranny.

Shout out to my Step Brother Matt Clarke who I ran Liberty Brothers with. He is a Libertarian Conservative & an ex NDP voter. He & I had a falling out over Politics. He had been a PPC supporter & I was a Liberal. Somehow with me becoming an NDP supporter & him going Conservative though we have been able to find more common ground.
